This theme is built on the Warp framework, a well-engineered theme framework for WordPress and Joomla, and utilizes all of its latest features. The user interface is powered by UIkit, a lightweight and modular front-end framework, which provides the theme's styling. The theme also comes with a wide range of different layouts and widget variations.

Navigation Settings

Navigation Settings

The navigation comes with two different layouts. It can be centered with the logo stacked above the navbar. Alternatively the logo and navigation can be displayed in a single row. Additionally, you can apply a sticky navigation, so it remains at the top of the viewport when scrolling.

Chester theme comes with an optional alternative blog layout. It displays the featured image and the article content side by side with a special styling for the create date. The default blog layout is also still available.

To give you more flexibility, Chester theme provides a number of settings for each module position. You apply different background colors, paddings, block widths and place a divider between blocks. Each style features a different divider.

Sidepanel Position

Sidepanel Position

Sometimes you want to have content handy at all times. That's why we've added the Sidepanel position to this theme.

A button that remains fixed on the left side of the browser window toggles any content that is published inside this position, so it will slide into view.

Widgetkit

Chester Theme features Widgetkit 2, our content creator toolkit. In addition to the default widgets we also created four custom plugins which perfectly fit the theme's overall styling: a special Slider, Popover and two Switcher widgets.

This custom Slider provides a special layout. The active item will always be centered and has plenty of space to its adjacent items, so that they appear cut off by the browser window. This results in an elegant and trendy tripartite setup.

Servicio de Odontología

El Servicio de Odontología de la Maternidad Sardá atiende las pacientes desde su primer control obstétrico.

El embarazo es un período especial que demanda tomar cuidados extras para la salud bucal. La mujer embarazada presenta necesidades específicas para ese cuidado con buena higiene bucal y correcta nutrición.

Los profesionales del Hospital, que están en contacto directo con embarazadas poseen la información sobre la necesidad de prevenir o conservar su salud bucal en ese período, como manera de evitar infecciones que pudieran repercutir en el estado general de la gestante o en la salud general y bucal de su futuro bebé.

Durante el embarazo, se producen variaciones hormonales y psicológicas que resultan en cambios significativos en el organismo femenino. Algunos de ellos se manifiestan específicamente en la cavidad oral y pueden provocar cambios que tornan vulnerables las estructuras o que acrecientan o desencadenan patologías que habían permanecido sin alteración durante mucho tiempo.

Los factores hormonales, microbianos e inmunológicos influyen sobre los tejidos gingivales siendo factores de riesgo capaces de desencadenar procesos infecciosos serios.

La gestación en sí misma no produciría gingivitis si no se sumaran los factores locales tales como una deficiente o ausente higiene oral y el incremento de la flora bacteriana gingival y subgingival anaeróbica.

La caries dental es una enfermedad infecciosa, multifactorial y transmisible; su aumento en la boca de la embarazada también es consecuencia de la actuación de factores locales: la presencia de placa bacteriana con altos niveles de la bacteria cariogénica, el deficiente cepillado por mala técnica y/o inapropiado cepillo y la dieta rica en carbohidratos con una frecuencia de más de 3 veces por día, entre otros.

PROGRAMA DE ATENCIÓN DE LA EMBARAZADA:

OBJETIVO GENERAL:

Lograr en las embarazadas que concurren al servicio de Odontología la limitación del daño y la reconversión del riesgo cariogénico y periodontopático mediante:

  • Intervenciones clínicas estandarizadas de alto nivel resolutivo y fuerte componente preventivo.
  • Refuerzo de los hábitos de auto cuidado responsables de la salud bucal.

OBJETIVOS ESPECÍFICOS:

  • Control de la placa bacteriana y la infección en la embarazada.
  • Reducción del riesgo de instalación de la enfermedad en el bebé mediante el control de la ventana de infección y de cuidados apropiados de higiene y alimentación.

ACTIVIDADES:

A) En talleres de profilaxis:

  • Adiestramiento de la embarazada en el control de la placa bacteriana por medio del cepillado.
  • Brindar información y capacitar en el auto cuidado de su salud bucal y la del bebé.
  • Asesoramiento dietético.

B) En el consultorio:

  • Diagnóstico y urgencias odontológicas
  • Actividades de promoción de la salud bucal.
  • Restaurar y reparar las lesiones del componente dentario
  • Diagnosticar y tratar quirúrgicamente patologías infecciosas, funcionales y estéticas del área oral.
  • Diagnosticar y tratar enfermedades que afectan el periodonto.
